Racial and cultural differences root all the way back to Genesis and are not completely resolved until Revelations.  But Jesus came to unify us through the cross and we are commissioned to bring hope to the nations.  We live in a diverse world and so our mission field is likely going to be the big box of crayons.   But the differences often leave me feeling awkward or unsure of what to say (go cringy auto-babel).  I want to be God's Go-To-Tool when it comes to reaching people, so I want to be equipped!  I asked a diverse group of friends who have strengths in this area to have an honest conversation with me about ministering to people who are different from me.  Here are some of their responses (edited for length and to avoid repetition):
